Steve Ronsen

Guitar and Vocals

STEVE RONSEN'S musical beginnings started in the emergency room where the doctor was asked to sing to a young nervous mother to be...well, he did...and so born into music and a musical family.

Guitar and piano filled the air throughout the house. It wasn't long till Steve started banging out songs on the piano, then switching to guitar and then drums at an early age. He listened to music constantly and started singing the hit songs he heard on the radio before he even knew what the words meant.

Performing with different people and different bands and "experimenting with many styles has been an interesting journey" bringing him to where he and his music are today. Although admiring many performers such as Elton John, Billy Joel, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Zeppelin, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Train, Rob Thomas, Robin Ford to name a few.... his guitar sounds and unique vocals are all his own.

In Steve's words: "I love the full band behind me, but my songs originate from a pure point of view, acoustically. I try to put some kind of message into every song, good or bad. Sometimes hidden so when you listen again you might say 'oh, I didn't see that, kinda like a good novel.

So the song evolves as you listen, or different people get a different meaning according to their point of view."
